OUR PASTOR & FIRST LADY

Rev. Isaac is married to the former Denise C. Lawson and they have two children Donald Jr. (Alexandra) a graduate of Morehouse and Georgetown University. Deborah, a graduate of Drexel University. He has one granddaughter in Ari Isaac. The Isaac household also includes two nephews; William Lawson III, a Junior of Morehouse College, and Jabrill Lawson, a sophomore of Seed Charter School. Rev. Isaac is a native Washingtonian and currently resides in Ward 7 with his family

Rev. Isaac was called, licensed and ordained at the S.E. Tabernacle Baptist Church, founded by his great grandfather and where his uncle Rev. W.W. Flood served as Pastor for over 50 years.

 

Rev. Isaac is the Senior Minister at the Community Action Group (CAG) of the Holy Comforter-St. Cyprian Catholic Church where he directs the Leadership Council coordinates the activities and development of the ministerial staff and evaluates ministry operations.

As Executive Director, of the East of the River Clergy, Police, Community Partnership, Inc (ERCPCP) Rev. Isaac is responsible for resource development, program development and strategic planning.

 

Rev. Isaac has served as the director of religious affairs for Mayor Muriel Bowser, the Chairperson of Mayor Vincent Gray's Interfaith committee and the CSOSA Faith Advisory. He has also served the residence of the District as a Senior Auditor and the Office of the DC Auditor and as the C.F.O for the council of the District of Columbia. Committee. Rev. Isaac is also the managing member and broker of records for D&D Properties, LLC a real estate business specializing in brokerage, consulting, development and special needs housing development.

 

Rev. Isaac has studied at the Washington Technical Institute, Howard University, and the University of the District of Columbia receiving an A.S. in Urban Planning, and a B.S. in City Planning and Development. He graduated from the Washington Baptist Seminary and attended Howard University School of Divinity in the Master of Divinity program. Rev. Isaac also has received a M.P.A. from Southeastern University.

 

First Lady Denise Isaac is the devoted wife of the senior pastor of Southeast Tabernacle Baptist Church, Donald L. Isaac Sr. In 1984, the couple wed and together they are the proud parents of 2 beautiful children; Donald and Deborah and one grandchild; Ari. When she is not serving in ministry, First Lady Denise spends her time maintaining the Isaac’s home, and spending quality time with family and friends.

A distinguished woman in her own right, First Lady Isaac is a gifted early child development teacher and administrator and has served Georgetown Visitation, First Rock Baptist Church, Ambassador Baptist Church and Saint Phillips Episcopal Church. She earned a B.S. in Business Management from Southeastern University. She also has a DIS Physical Security Certification and TS Security Clearance. Her heart for the spiritual development of women and families is evident in her ministry, as well as her professional life. The Lord continues to use this well-respected, godly woman to train other Christian women to reach their full spiritual potential.
